Dear Esteemed Mentors and Mentees,
The World Aquaculture Society, African Chapter, West African Region(WASACWAR) is pleased to officially announce the Round-Up Session of the WASACWAR Pioneering Mentors–Mentees Training Programme.
This session marks the formal conclusion of the intensive and impactful mentorship journey aimed at building capacity, strengthening professional competence, and fostering leadership among emerging aquaculture professionals across Africa and beyond.

The Round-Up Session will feature invited guests from different parts of the world, including industry experts, professionals, and thought leaders in aquaculture. There will also be Guest Speakers who will share insights, experiences and strategic guidance relevant to career development, innovation and leadership within the aquaculture sector.
Attendance at this session is mandatory for all Mentors and Mentees. This is a compulsory programme activity for qand full participation is required as it forms a critical part of the mentorship programme’s evaluation and closure.
Certificates of Participation will be awarded to all active Mentors and Mentees who have fully participated in the programme. In addition, the six (6) most outstanding and active mentees will receive Special Recognition Awards in acknowledgment of their exceptional commitment, engagement and performance throughout the training programme.
We strongly encourage all participants to make adequate preparations to attend this important session and to join promptly at the scheduled time.
