WEST AFRICAN REGION WELCOM PROF. DANIEL ADJEI BOATENG AS REGIONAL DIRECTOR
Dear Esteemed Members and Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that we formally introduce Prof. Daniel Adjei Boateng as the Regional Director of the World Aquaculture Society (WAS), African Chapter – West Africa Region.
Prof. Daniel Adjei Boateng brings to this esteemed position a wealth of experience, deep academic insight, and proven leadership in aquaculture development across Africa and beyond.
His appointment reflects the confidence of the society in his capacity to provide strategic direction, strengthen regional collaboration, and advance sustainable aquaculture growth in the West Africa Region.
As a region, we look forward to working closely with Prof. Boateng as he leads efforts to consolidate our gains, expand professional engagement, and position West Africa as a strong and influential hub within the global aquaculture community.
